        NAMB report features Mary Lou Retton
ORLANDO, Fla., June 14 - Bob Reccord, president, North American Mission Board, introduces Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton during his annual report to Southern Baptists. NAMB's report was presented June 14 as the SBC gathered for its 143rd annual national session June 13-14 in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.
 
        NAMB report features mountain repellers
ORLANDO, Fla., June 14 -- Mountain rapppelers dropped from the ceiling of Orlando's Orange County Convention Center June 14 during the North American Mission Board's annual report as the Southern Baptist Convention gathered for its 143rd annual national session June 13-14. The rappelers illustrated the theme that America is in trouble and in need of rescue.
 
        ERLC report features SBC heroes of the faith
ORLANDO, Fla., June 14-Richard Land, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, presents Southern Baptists from across America who are "heroes of the faith." These people are examples of how a Christian can deal with major issues facing society today, Land said. These include racism, abandoned children, pornography and access to it. The ERLC's annual report was presented June 14 as the SBC gathered for its 143rd annual national session June 13-14 in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.

        Jay Sekulow gives theme interpretation
ORLANDO, Fla., June 13 --Jay Alan Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, Atlanta, gives a theme interpretation on "God's People and the Worldwide Harvest" during the closing session of the Southern Baptist Convention. The 143rd annual national session of the SBC, in its 155th year, was held June 13-14 in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.
